Content
What will the course cover?

We took every care to select and organize the course content to maximize value, empowerment, and ease of comprehension for our learners.

In this foundational part of the course, we will introduce a structured approach to making decisions that optimally leverages data. We'll then explore how to formulate the right data questions to guide data collection and analysis, ensuring that the insights we gather directly support our decision-making needs.
This part focuses on the core techniques for measuring performance. You'll gain a deep understanding of how to design, implement, and interpret metrics. We'll also cover techniques for estimating key metrics when we only have data from a sample or subset of cases, which is a common challenge in real-world decision-making scenarios.
In this part, you'll learn how to generate actionable hypotheses from data. You'll learn how to identify trends, make comparisons, and detect relationships between variables. By the end of this part, you'll be able to ask the right questions, interpret results accurately while avoiding common pitfalls, and spot potential opportunities.
You'll learn how to test your hypotheses rigorously. In particular, you'll learn how to design and conduct experiments to assess the impact of your actions, as well as how to interpret the results and draw valid conclusions. By the end of this part, you will be able to measure the true impact of your decisions, and refine your strategies based on evidence.
You'll learn powerful techniques for predicting future outcomes to inform our decisions today. We'll explore how to leverage historical data and advanced modeling techniques to forecast trends and estimate the likelihood of different scenarios. By the end of this part, you'll be equipped to make forward-looking decisions.
Discover how simulation techniques can help us size potential opportunities, answer 'what-if' questions to estimate the impact of possible decisions. This will equip you with a valuable tool for comparing the potential outcomes of different decisions before committing to them.
